Well, finally i came to realise that im suppose to blog about my holiday.Been busy since i got back, thanks to all the mamak, big dinner, drinking, swimming and movie sessions;D
okay people SARAWAK!
DAY 1
We departed around 3.25pm and reached Sarawak approximately 5.35pm. The journey was simple and quiet as the three of us were just listening to our own musics and one even took a nap;p
As we were landing in Kuching, the view was so pretty and I realized the place was actually more developed compared to what I had imagined.oops! They had tones of ATM machine.FYI.haha
The surprise was the hotel, the website was so canggih and when the cab stopped it was actually more of a motel=.= our washroom could not be locked because the doorknob was missing so if any of us were to do anything, the ones in the room can easily say or even describe what’s happening inside! But the service were awesome, the people over there was so NICE!!
We chucked all our luggage in our room and went to hunt down good Sarawakian food. Again we were shocked looking at no shops were open its either they are closing down or were closed. Finally, we found a Chinese hawker like restaurant and ate some pork noodle with milk tea. It was satisfying perhaps we were too hungry lah!
Started walking around and found Parkson then Giant bought little stuff like tissue rolls.lol.and mosquito repellent because I was getting too worried for Rainforest. So I got the repellent tissue.cool eh!
Went back to the hotel and KIM showered first while we waited at the LOBBY (I have no idea what to call that little reception). Both the girls were getting ready to hit the club while the lazy ones stayed back at the lodge to sleep. We were suppose to sleep but end up having pillow fights and talks, wait more like pillow arguments and screaming. GOD knows how much of noise the both of us made; thank god it was a motel man.
DAY 2
Me and Kim woke up early to find for our KOLO MEE. Found one but it was HALAL so they served with beef, and I didn’t want to try so in the end I went to get my tiger biscuits. But packed one for Alex, and we had tough times waking him up. When finally he got up ,he was so noisy=S and was taking freaking long time to get dressed.V-A-I-N-P-O-T
Took the shuttle from HILTON and left to the RAINFOREST*was exciting*nearly an hour drive. It was rm110 when we bought the ticket, it was all worth it! We had some lamb kebab for lunch and pizza for dinner and tonnes of drinks;)
Spotted good looking people around but was more amazed with the environment and the views itself. Ahh.next year I’ll make sure I’m there for all three days!
We got back to the hotel all wet and stinky due to the rain. Was coughing and sneezing all night long till we were too tired to even watch the FIFA finals (yes ,we slept off instead!)
DAY 3
Woke up preety late thinking we wont be sleeping when we get to the beach as the hotels are gonna be freaking expensive. However, when we went for our lunch we found Kuching tourism information office and they were simply efficient!we manage to get several hotel’s numbers to check out the prices around the beach area and we agreed on Santubong! It was the most reasonable plus two queen size bed so we won’t need to share or anything. After settling the hotels and paying for our lunch we moved to Giant to get some foods because we heard the foods and drinks around the beach areas are pretty expensive. After doing our grocery shopping we went to the awesome three layer tea place to get the Dutch beers (only 4 bucks for one long can!!)
Around 5 we left HILTON and went to Santubong with a shuttle van.All of us had like this huge big smile and excitement. The room was so huge and nice..Alex was rushing for the pool so we could stare at the sun set. OMG. It was so goooood and prettttty! And yet both of us were complaining about the missing rainbow!
We ate some apples and the beach were not opened after 7=( so end up listening to musics and some tv serials to waste the night off. Owh we ordered room service, we could afford them in Sarawak.haha.the food was good ;)

DAY 4
I didn’t go for breakfast as I never had a good sleep that night so Alex went with his mummy @Kim. I guess they had great bonding session and once again the boy didn’t take his chances with ANNA=p
As usual when they were back, Alex started to make tonnes of noise so we got dressed and left to the beach.HUHUHU. This is where I really fell in love with the place. It was so heavenly (trust me this is not an exaggeration but the truth)
Okay to my disappointment I lost my camera and I got few scars all around my feet and sun burns on my back which was not nice at all. And yet it was all worth it or maybe not my camera but guess a good holiday comes with a price=S
My best friend was super sweet to get me chocolates because I lost my camera*sigh*It didn’t help much but oh well, the thought that counts!
We went for some seafood around dinner time. One word FOOD was GOOD! Despite all the mosquitoes but the repellents were pretty effective for me at least=D
And the idea of having wine together kind of got torn off due to the surprises we got at night!
I got my thumb cut just because we wanted to open the wine and I managed. But just a very long cut on my thumb! The scar is still there=S
DAY 5
Breakfast then we started packing up though we hated the thought of leaving the place but we just had too;(
Got back to Kuching, checked into Tunes hotel this time just in front of the three-layer tea restaurant=DD
Around evening, we headed for some finger-licking good Iban food across the waterfront so we had a ride on the motorboat which was cool.
We spent nearly 4hours eating and talking about almost everything and I think by that time all of us were comfortable with each other already, especially Kim and Alex ( I was honestly quite worried initially when we bought the tickets together as both of them are from two different worlds and now a holiday together)but I’m so glad you guys could get along so well to the extent they have a mother-son bond.
Walked back to the hotel to rest abit and get our meals digested before we go out for some drinks and good laughs.
Khatulistiwa Café it was where we sat around and talked everything out;)
The night was ended with few emo songs and everyone slept off!
DAY 6
Tatoo day and its final day in Kuching so everyone was no longer that hyper because we know we were going to miss that place really badly. I was and I am missing Kuching already.
Alex and Mandy got their tattoos,Kim backed off after seeing Alex bleeding, she just went all white and pale. Alex nearly fainted after the outline thanks to the super rough tattoo artist. Alex’s one was nice and he wanted that way too long so finally its done!
We went for some three layer teas together again before we left to the hotel then we went for some souvenir shopping and got back to the hotel for dinner.
This time we went for Chinese meal, we had pork, fish and chicken. Reasonable price, good and big portions of food along with great service. Tabby brought us to BING! Since I never been there before so we drank few drinks and chatted for some time before we left to the hotel for the night.
We slept early since we were leaving the next morning. It was our last night there and I have to say it was an amazing holiday and that place was great and everything else just made our holiday damn awesome despite all the funny unexpected things happened.
Thanks to the best friend, my very good friend and my banana for going along with me!
